About Me

Hello! I’m Swastika Mukherjee, an enthusiastic and committed tutor specializing in English and Biology, dedicated to helping students learn with clarity, confidence, and curiosity. I am currently pursuing my B.Sc. in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, and Genetics at REVA University and have a strong academic foundation in life sciences as well as communication. I’ve always believed that great teaching goes beyond textbooks. My teaching style blends academic discipline with creative, interactive methods that cater to individual learning styles. I scored an 8.5 Band in IELTS and have been recognized by Times Edushine for my proficiency in English and public speaking. These skills allow me to support my students in mastering English, whether for schoolwork, exams, or building confident communication. In Biology, my research experience with zebrafish models and molecular biology techniques equips me to simplify complex concepts using practical examples and visual tools. I’ve also worked as a teacher’s aid in Biology, supporting both classroom instruction and one-on-one doubt-clearing sessions—an experience that sharpened my ability to explain even the toughest concepts with ease. Beyond academics, I’ve volunteered extensively with Rotary International, teaching English and Science to underprivileged children, where I developed adaptive teaching strategies for diverse learners. This work has deeply influenced my approach, ensuring my classes are empathetic, inclusive, and motivating for every student, regardless of background or pace. Over the years, I’ve tutored students from classes 6 to 12 across various boards including CBSE, ICSE, and IGCSE, with a focus on result-oriented learning, regular assessments, and personalized guidance. I prioritize concept clarity, structured learning, and consistent improvement over rote memorization. My strengths also extend beyond the classroom. I’m a trained Indian classical dancer and music enthusiast, which helps me build rapport with students and keep the learning environment vibrant and engaging.
