Grade 6 prepares students for the independence and challenge of junior high school. Students take eight required subjects: Art, English Language Arts, Health and Life Skills, Mathematics, Music, Physical Education, Science and Social Studies. Some schools may offer additional optional subjects.

The Grade 6 Program is divided into subject areas. This program is designed for students to complete their studies on line, and is based on the prescribed learning standards. Students are encouraged to use a variety of resources and references to broaden their understanding and support their learning strengths, needs, and styles.
